Description:

Debrah Suggs is a systems administrator in the Office of Information Technology at Duke University. She will be discussing the iPod First-Year Experience at Duke University and the solutions her department had to implement to support the iPod users on campus. OIT had to provide a solution for iPod users without Macintosh or Windows computers and develop a web application for class audio content exchanges.

Jim Wolfgang is Chief Information Officer at Georgia College & State University. He will present an overview of GCSU's iPod program and future goals. Ashley Holder, an Honors Student and Hank Edmondson, a Professor of Political Science will present on their experiences in learning and teaching with iPods. Robert Ethier, an IT Support Specialist, will talk about deployment and support issues, while Frank Lowney, Director of Electronic Instruction Services will discuss the iPod Photo as a portable learning device.
