Daylight saving time laws were enacted in 2005 that take affect this March 11th 2007. This could cause issues with
computers that rely on time accuracy of items like email, databases, metadata, etc. Listed below is compiled
information to the best of my ability on the systems I have in place and their required patch level to minimize the
impact of these changes. I do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of this information.

Windows:
Vista – No changes required
XP – SP2 with updates outlined in KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928388
Server 2003 – SP1 with updates listed at above KB
2000 Client and Server – manual update required as outlined http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914387
NT 4/ME/98/95 unsupported or no patch available
Mac OS:
10.5 – no changes required

SLES9/NLD9/OES – Novell patch-10738 required to update to Version 2.2.3-98.61 or later
SLES8 – Novell patch-10905 required to update to Version 2.2.5-235 or newer
Redhat Enterprise Linux:
RHEL 2.1 - GLIBC must be updated to version 2.2.4-32.23
RHEL 3 - Install update 7 (U7) or later
RHEL 4 - Install update 3 (U3) or later
