Justin will cover these topics on PSU Blast Image Config 2.0 (aka, "BIC"):

  • How BIC makes it very easy and streamlined to restore a Mac
  • How BIC can be completely automated
  • How to create a bootable Mac OS X DVD that BIC can run and restore from
  • Image creation and restoration tips and tricks
  • How Penn State uses BIC in their Lab deployments

For the case study, Daniel Ritter, Lab Supervisor for the School of Visual Arts at Penn State University, will cover how he uses Blast Image Config in his environment. He will discuss the various issues and solutions to creating images and deploying them to many faculty Macs.
