This webcast will cover integrating Mac OS X into Netware environments.
The specific examples will use Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) and Netware 6.5.
Dan will cover the schema extension to eDirectory, and how to manage
the schema extensions and populate users with Novell's iManager 2.0.1.
Apple's Workgroup Manager is also capable of populating users, which
he will discuss as well. Dan will also demonstrate how to create a simple
iManager plug-in to manage the Apple specific attributes for user objects.
Finally, he will give tips and some gotchas to watch out for when integrating
Mac OS X into a Netware environment.
The case study will be done by Theresa Glendale, a Network Manager at
Arizona Glendale Community College. She will cover their environment
and how Novell eDirectory helps to manage their labs.
