At the November 2002 UEF technical leads meeting, a group of over 30
Mac system administrators gathered to discuss many issues surrounding
Mac OS X lab deployment. Most of the presentations were captured on video
so they could be shared here. Our thanks to Apple for hosting our meeting
and arranging the video taping services!

Installation Tools
The presentation describes different ways to use the command-line version
of the ASR utility to clone volumes and restore disk images to lab machines.

File System Maintenance Tools
RsyncX, RsyncXCD, and the RsyncX Package Tools allow you to perform
a wide range of file operations - from simple file, folder, or hard drive
local backups to remote administration of file systems for Mac OS X.
RsyncX is an enhanced version of the command line tool rsync, which is
supported on a wide variety of UNIX platforms, and win32 machines as
well.

Radmind is a suite of Unix command line tools for remote administration
of file systems for Mac OS X and other Unix systems. This presentation
gives a overview of the tools, the process of using the tools, terms,
execution and status customizations, tips & tricks.

Open Directory Integration
An introduction into the directory services built into Mac OS X. This
session gives an overview of all the services and capabilities included
with Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server.

Mac OS X provides a separate home directory for each user. Learn some
of the benefits of storing those home directories on a central network-based
file server. Specific examples discussed include Apple's support of AFP
